Designworks Far East is a complete product development and manufacturing operation. It bolts on to the front end design with our UK and Australia offices. Ray and the team in HK and China have a wealth of experience and expertise in product development and manufacture, spanning low to high volume production, from premiums to technical product.


When we take on a project we ensure that our manufacturing people are involved from the outset. This way, cost, safety and final manufacture is considered at each stage of the design and development process. We conduct product evaluations and costing exercises allowing you to assess the costs associated with bringing a product into production and ultimately to market.

Chris

Based in Windsor, Chris heads up the manufacturing operation together with Ray in HK. He has worked across a diverse range of products and manufacturing disciplines from swimming pool pumps and filtration equipment, to games and toys. His role sees him closing the link between product, client and vendor. Always keen to apply a bit of kiwi ingenuity.

Ray

Ray runs and develops our Far East operation. His extensive manufacturing knowledge and vendor network enables designworks to consider almost any product. Ray continues to extend designworks capability and offering to provide a complete product solution.

Eva

Our senior project manager and engineer who has a rich and varied background in consumer products. With excellent problem solving skills and a calm concise approach, Eva makes everyone’s life easier!

Kenneth

The lynch-pin. As operations and finance manager Kenneth maintains control of our production planning, logistics and financial well being.

Henry

Manages the China team and activity within our R&D centre. Henry see’s and knows all, a production guru who always finds a solution - an invaluable skill when applying new innovations or technologies.
